The 2021 Michelin Guide has given the double sparkling recognition to the Santa Elisabetta Restaurant of the Brunelleschi Hotel, in Florence. The elegant style of Chef Rocco De Santis, in balance between vision and memory, was awarded.

One year after obtaining the first Michelin star, here comes the second. The double and surprising star comes in a very difficult and delicate year like that of the pandemic in which all efforts were made to keep the restaurant open as long as the law allowed.

The award ceremony was held on 25 November 2020 in Milan in live streaming, in compliance with the health regulations due to the pandemic.

Our Chef Rocco De Santis participated via Skype, during which he was notified of the two Michelin stars award.

Chef De Santis wishes to express gratitude and satisfaction to customers, the hotel management, the property and all the staff, in particular to Maître Alessandro Fe, Sommelier Lorenzo Paoli, Pastry Chef Francesca Benedettelli and Sous Chef Fabio Silla.
