Starred restaurant in the historical center of Florence

In the heart of Florence, the Santa Elisabetta Restaurant welcomes you in an intimate and cozy environment with just seven tables inside the historical circular walls of the Pagliazza Tower, on the first floor of Brunelleschi Hotel.
From the enchanting Byzantine tower you can enjoy a characteristic view of the city, that of Piazza Santa Elisabetta. An essential and minimalist mise en place highlights even more the stone walls of the ancient tower.

A unique location to amaze and to choose for the most special occasions.

The Pagliazza Tower is part of the register of historical Florentine buildings. In its foundations there is a private museum with relics from the Roman and Renaissance periods. During the Middle Ages the tower was used as a women’s prison. The name “Pagliazza” comes from the straw (paglia) beds for the prisoners.
