That's what Santa Elisabetta has been for us. An unexpected project. One that gave us far more than awards or recognition, it gave us perspective.

Sometimes success doesn't ask you to keep going. It asks you to stop and dream a little bigger. And so we've decided to temporarily close Santa Elisabetta as it is today, to take the time to imagine what it could be.

A moment to listen. To think. To plan. To find the best way to do justice to one of the most remarkable places in Florence.

The Torre della Pagliazza has stood for over fifteen centuries, reinventing itself across the ages while always remaining itself. We believe it still has stories to tell. And we think the next one might be the best yet.
